You may remember our blog about our love for dining al fresco; because we have a shorter summer here in Calgary, we try to make the most of those warmer spring and summer evenings by eating outdoors as much as we can! Maybe you already have the outdoor dining room of your dreams, but this upcoming season, why not bring the full experience outdoors by adding a kitchen to your outdoor living space!
You’ll no longer have to run back and forth between the outdoor barbeque and indoor fridge, nor will you have to harass your family members to help you carry condiments, utensils and dishware. Everything you need will be within arms reach. If that waterfront property on a lake isn’t in your financial cards, why not invest a little bit into sprucing up your own backyard? You’ll feel like you’re on vacation every weekend.
Which materials do you want to use in your kitchen’s construction? Cedar is a popular wood choice – it has a pleasant smell and may also repel moths.
