Everyone wants a good relationship with their neighbours – it just makes everything so much easier – but we also deserve privacy when we are relaxing in our outdoor living spaces! If your backyard is in close proximity to your neighbours’ houses, or if you are close to a main road or a path that sees a lot of public traffic, why not make your goal this summer to create a private, garden sanctuary that can be enjoyed by you, your family and your guests.

Perhaps you have a hot tub or a swim spa that you would like to shield from prying eyes; a trellis or some latticework can do the trick, while at the same time providing a great space to support beautiful climbing plants.
You always have the option of creating an outdoor room. You can section off part of your deck or patio with lattices covered in climbing vines; the feeling of enclosure is comforting and relaxing, and also protects your family and guests against strong winds. This little nook is sure to be the focal point of your outdoor living space and a place that the whole family can enjoy!
