Many distinct areas have been created in this landscaping project - a meditation garden, a breakfast area , a gazebo with views of the
lake, and here an outdoor meeting and barbecue area with seating for up to thirty staff and friends.
The massive scale of these wooden benches was only one of many challenges addressed here. The remote location was a logistical problem,
the valley bottom location created drainage difficulties, the harsh environment limited the choices for plant materials and finally - the deer!! Selecting plant species that wouldn’t
provide a feast for local wildlife is all in a days work for Ron and the Ananda team
